What we do to prevent the spread of COVID-19
Ideal now have equipment and services available, designed to provide bio-decontamination of equipment, vehicles, rooms or entire facilities. This process is called ‘fogging’ and allows us to disinfect with a hydrogen Peroxide mist. This is used primarily for hard surface disinfections, as in healthcare premises, where no soft furnishings are present. For buildings and rooms where soft furnishings are present, such as carpets, furniture, and curtains we use a tested (people and animal safe) biocide. Both system are highly effective against viruses such as influenza, Covid-19 and Norovirus and the mist delivery system is exactly the same. It is the clear choice when replacing traditional formaldehyde or chlorine-based applications offering fast, repeatable cycles within a sensitive environment. Most importantly it can mean that you are able to return to work in as little as 2 hours after completion of disinfection.
We have a record of delivering works to tight deadlines, particularly important for production line cleaning and shutdowns when downtime must be limited. The works are fully managed, planned and undertaken in line with our robust Risk Assessments.

Can this be used around electrical equipment?
These solutions are applicable for airborne and surface contamination control and unlike some other alternatives, we use a “dry mist” solution. This means electrical equipment including computers etc are completely safe to be left in-situ whilst the fogging takes place. Across Europe we are seeing ionised hydrogen peroxide fogging being used in hospitals, surgeries, care homes, laboratories, schools, offices, retail stores and public transport, in fact it can be used wherever people congregate and there is the risk of infection.
Can you give me a quote over the phone or by email?
We can – but this would only be an ‘indicative quote’ or estimate and would be subject to an actual site survey by one of our Field Sales representatives.
A full site survey is the best way to accurately quote for your cleaning needs and allows us the opportunity to discuss your requirements with you in detail. However in cases where we are required to act ASAP, this can be discussed as long as you have agreed to our terms of service prior to the work commencing.
How do I know that fogging is actually going to work?
We are not the first company to use fogging in order to disinfect areas that have suffered an our break, however we are one of the first to be able to offer it as an easy access solution for domestic and commercial areas. An example of it working is with SIA, they are using it to disinfect airlines and it is part of their move to combat the viruses spread.

How does the virus spread?
The virus that causes COVID-19, and its flu like symptoms, seems to be spreading most effectively among communities (this is community spreading). Areas such as Offices, restaurants, schools and hospitals being the most infected. This is due to its close proximity surroundings with others or already infected items.
Thankfully, this is where fogging comes in key, its dry mist chemical formula disinfects the area and equipment/items so that no trace of the virus is left.
